STEP 1 Define your Camera Communications Format. RS232 or IP (IP communications for Future Use)

 

STEP 2 Define your Communications Port.
(The software will display only valid windows
communications ports available.) NOTE:If using a Quatech 485/422 card check the hardware device manager for the assigned port.

 

STEP 3 Select the Manufacture or Model of your Camera.
(If your Unit is not listed contact CamTech@pacbell.net)

STEP 4 Select the Device Baud Rate.
(The baud Rates are pre-defined per factory standards)
(If adjustable baud rates are required, you can Update to CamTech Pro.)

STEP 5 Select the CONNECT button.
(Any changes to the setup requires a DISCONNECT
with the exception of Camera Serial address)
STEP 6 Enter the Camera Serial Address.
(Any changes to the setup requires a DISCONNECT
with the exception of Camera Serial address)

All of the operational buttons when highlighted using, a mouse or keyboard will send commands out the selected communications port in real time as long as they are highlighted.

 
Keyboard Commands:  
 
PAN & TILT

Page Up Arrow  = Tilt Up
Page Down Arrow  =   Tilt Down
Home Arrow Left  =   Pan Left
Home Arrow Right  =   Pan Right

 

ZOOM LENS
 
Zoom In = I 
Zoom Out = O
Focus Near =N 
Focus Far = F
Iris Open = <
Iris Close = C

The LED will highlight if you have any data on the

RECEIVE DATA LINE.

When Connected RS232 to J0308ACU devices a Response is Normal Operation

I f using CAMTECH PRO this

window will display the COMMANDS

sent to your selected COM PORT.
