Question 1  My Working unit does not move?
*Check your Communication Typ
*RS232 or 485/422
         If RS232, then check your Tx and Rx lines.
         With a meter at DC Volts you should have a
          - voltage on both lines with SG as reference.
          (if voltage on one line switch Tx and RX)
 
*Check  your Device Address
*The Software Screen MUST MATCH your Camera.  
Question 5  My VCL Dome does not work.?
 *Check The Manufacturer/Model you have selected.
 * Some VCL domes can be setup for Pelco communications.
 * You can use Pelco if your VCL dome is set for Pelco.
 
Question 6  I have no RS232 port on my new Laptop? 
 *You can use the USB to RS232 Kit (CT-USB-KT-002)

Question 2  My Pelco moves too fast?
 * Check The Pan Speed Adjustment
 * Reduce the number (This controls both the Tilt and Pan).
 
Question 7  Can I buy your Troubleshooting Kit without the
                     CAMTECH Software?
 *Yes, the Kit was designed to help all Tech’s  in the field.

Question 3  Why does American Dynamics and 
                    Kalatel ask you to contact CamTech? 
 *Both Manufactures use a Hardware Interfaces which
  have been known to change without notice. 
  *You can contact us about a interface you are using 
    and if we support that unit. 
 
Question 8  Where can I get more Wire Taps? 
  *This are available in pre-defined lots.

Question 4 Can I see commands going to the camera?
